    If you are driving from La Fortuna, begin by heading west on Route 142 towards Route 1. Continue south on Route 1 until you reach the junction with Route 34. Take Route 34 towards Jaco. After approximately 34 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Route 100. Follow Route 100 for about 10 kilometers until you reach Rainmaker, which will be on your right. The drive takes around 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic.

    To reach Rainmaker by bus from La Fortuna, take a bus to San Jose. From San Jose, catch a bus to Parrita. The bus from La Fortuna to San Jose takes about 3 hours, while the bus to Parrita takes around 4 to 5 hours. Once in Parrita, you can take a taxi or local shuttle to Rainmaker, which is about 15 kilometers away. Make sure to confirm the cost with your taxi driver before starting your trip; it should be approximately 10,000-15,000 CRC.
