Located just a few kilometers outside the town of La Fortuna, near the base of the Arenal Volcano, the waterfall offers a stunning display of natural beauty and a refreshing escape into the rainforest.The waterfall plummets approximately 70-75 meters (230-246 feet) into a cool, turquoise pool. Fed by the Fortuna River, the waterfall is surrounded by lush, green vegetation, creating a vibrant and picturesque scene. The falls are part of a biological reserve with diverse flora and fauna, offering visitors a chance to spot toucans, monkeys, and other tropical creatures.To reach the waterfall's base, visitors descend a staircase of approximately 500 steps.
