Tortugas Preciosas de Osa is located directly on Playa Platanares. If you are staying in accommodations along the beach, simply walk along the shore to reach the facilities. From the center of Puerto Jiménez, it's approximately a 3 km walk southeast along the main road following the coastline. The walk takes around 45 minutes.

Taxis are readily available in Puerto Jiménez. A taxi from the town center to Tortugas Preciosas de Osa on Playa Platanares will cost approximately $10. Agree on the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxis can be found near the soccer field in Puerto Jiménez.

A local bus runs between Puerto Jiménez and Carate, passing Playa Platanares. You can hop off the bus near Playa Platanares and walk a short distance to Tortugas Preciosas de Osa. The bus departs Puerto Jiménez twice daily, and a one-way fare costs approximately $4.
