Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Puerto Jiménez, take Route 245 towards La Palma. Continue on this road for about 30 km until you reach the intersection with Route 16. Turn left onto Route 16 and drive for another 40 km. Once you reach the town of Bahía Drake, look for the water tanks of ASADA on your right. The Rio Agujitas Eco-Jungle Hostel & Camping is located 300 meters from these tanks. There is no parking directly at the hostel, so be prepared to walk the last part.

Public Transportation
From Puerto Jiménez, take a local bus that heads towards Bahía Drake. Buses depart regularly throughout the day and the fare is around $5. Inform the driver that you are going to Bahía Drake. Once you arrive in Bahía Drake, ask locals for directions to the ASADA water tanks; they are a well-known landmark. From there, walk approximately 300 meters to reach the Rio Agujitas Eco-Jungle Hostel & Camping. Be aware that the bus may not run late in the evening, so plan your arrival accordingly.
