Walking
If you are in the main area of Playa Flamingo, start by heading southeast towards the beach. Walk along the coastline until you reach the main road (Route 180). From there, turn left and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 21. At this point, you can either continue walking straight or take a local bus or shuttle towards Tamarindo.

If you prefer a quicker way, catch a local shuttle or bus from Playa Flamingo towards Tamarindo. Buses run frequently, so wait at a designated bus stop along Route 180. Once you reach Tamarindo, request to be dropped off near Banco Nacional, which is a well-known landmark. Kelly's Surf Shop is located just 600 meters southeast from there.

For those who wish to bike, you can rent a bicycle in Playa Flamingo. Start by biking southeast towards the beach, then follow the coastline and head towards Route 180. Once you reach the main road, turn left and bike for about 1.5 kilometers. After reaching the intersection with Route 21, you can either continue straight into Tamarindo or take a local bus or shuttle if you prefer.
