Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the main Tamarindo beach area, head south along the main beach path. Continue past the restaurants and shops until you reach the end of the beach. From there, you will see a road that leads into the town. Continue walking along this road until you reach the intersection with the main road (Route 155). Turn left onto Route 155 and walk for about 10 minutes. Scuba Tamarindo will be on your right side, just before you reach the Tamarindo River.

Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Tamarindo. Once you have your bike, start from the main beach area and ride south along the beachfront road. Continue until you reach the end of the beach and then follow the paved road into town. Turn left onto Route 155 at the intersection and ride for about 10 minutes. Scuba Tamarindo will be on your right, just before the Tamarindo River.

Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a local taxi. Simply find a taxi stand or ask your hotel to call one for you. Provide the driver with the destination: Scuba Tamarindo, located on Route 155 near the Tamarindo River. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes from the main beach area.

Public Transport
While public buses are less common in Tamarindo, there are some local shuttle services that can take you to various attractions. Check with your hotel or local tourist information for schedules. If you find a shuttle service heading towards Route 155, make sure to mention Scuba Tamarindo as your stop. Alternatively, you can also walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading in the direction of Liberia, asking the driver to drop you off at Scuba Tamarindo.
