Take the left path towards the coast (this road is called 'Pavón Road'). After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see signs indicating 'Refugio Nacional Gandoca-Manzanillo'. Keep following the signs until you arrive at the refuge entrance, which is located at J869+WPR, 36, Limón Province.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Puerto Viejo. Once you have your bike, ride along the main road (Pavón) heading south towards Playa Chiquita.
