Continue past Playa Cocles, and when you reach the fork in the road, stay left onto the main road. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Playa Punta Uva. Keep an eye out for the beach entrance on your right. It’s a pleasant ride, and you’ll enjoy the scenery along the way.

Go to the main bus stop in Puerto Viejo, located near the central park. Take the bus heading to Manzanillo. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Playa Punta Uva. Once you get off, walk towards the beach, which is just a short stroll from the bus stop.

From anywhere in Puerto Viejo, you can hail a taxi. Tell the driver you want to go to Playa Punta Uva. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes. It's a straightforward trip, and taxis are readily available. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

If you're feeling adventurous and have some time, you can walk to Playa Punta Uva from Puerto Viejo. Start by heading south on Avenida 71 towards Playa Cocles. After about 30 minutes of walking, you’ll reach the fork in the road. Keep left and continue on the main road for another 30 minutes until you see signs for Playa Punta Uva. It’s about a 5-kilometer walk, and you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views along the way.
