From Puntarenas, take Route 23 (Ruta 23) east towards San José. After approximately 30 kilometers, merge onto Route 27 towards Caldera/Jaco. Continue on Route 27 for about 45 kilometers until you reach the exit for Jaco. Follow the signs to Jaco, and once in town, look for signs directing you to the paragliding launch area located at J9WP+V6. The drive takes about 1.5 hours depending on traffic.

To reach Jaco Paragliding Launch using public transportation, start at the Puntarenas bus terminal. Look for a bus heading to Jaco, which runs frequently throughout the day. The bus ride takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Jaco, you can either take a taxi or walk to the paragliding launch location at J9WP+V6. The taxi ride from the bus station to the launch area will take around 10 minutes and may cost around $5 to $10.
