    From the center of Cahuita town, the main entrance to Cahuita National Park (Kelly Creek Station) is a short walk. Head east towards the Caribbean coast, and you'll find the entrance within a few minutes. Admission is by donation. Note that the park is open from 8 AM to 4 PM, and Punta Cahuita typically closes at 2 PM.

  • Public Transport

    If arriving from Puerto Viejo, take the MEPE bus towards Cahuita. The bus will drop you off near the center of Cahuita, from where you can easily walk to the Kelly Creek entrance of the national park. The bus fare from Puerto Viejo to Cahuita is approximately ₡1000-₡2000 (USD 2-4). Buses run frequently, but schedules can vary. From Limon, buses to Cahuita are also available for approximately ₡1250 (USD 2.5).

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available in nearby towns such as Puerto Viejo and Limon. A taxi from Puerto Viejo to the Kelly Creek entrance of Cahuita National Park will cost around ₡22,500-₡27,500 (USD 45-55) and take approximately 25 minutes. From Limon Airport, a taxi to Cahuita will cost approximately €300-€400. It's advisable to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
