From the Tamarindo beach area, head south along the shoreline. You will pass by several beach bars and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the end of the beach. At the end, you will see a rocky outcrop. Climb over the rocks carefully, and on the other side, you will find Matapalo Beach. This walk should take about 30-40 minutes and offers beautiful ocean views.

Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Tamarindo. Once you have your bike, head south on the main road (Route 155). Continue until you reach the intersection with Route 180. Turn left onto Route 180 and follow the signs towards Matapalo Beach. The ride is approximately 20 minutes, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way.
