Walking
From the center of Tamarindo, head towards the main road (Route 155). Walk south along the beach path until you reach the end of Tamarindo Beach. Continue walking along the beach until you reach the rocky area at the end. Look for the trail that leads up to Playa Pelada. Follow the trail which will take you through some trees and down to the beach.

Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Tamarindo. Start by heading south along the beach path towards the main entrance of Tamarindo Beach. Once you reach Route 155, turn left and continue biking until you see signs for Playa Pelada. There may be a trail that leads off the main road; take this to access the beach area.

Public Transport
To reach Playa Pelada using public transport, take a local bus from the main bus stop in Tamarindo heading towards Nosara. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Playa Pelada. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to the beach, from which you can walk a short distance down the path to the beach.

Taxi
For a more direct route, you can take a taxi. Flag down a taxi in Tamarindo or call one from your accommodation. Tell the driver you want to go to Playa Pelada. The taxi ride will take you directly to the beach entrance and is an easy option if you are carrying beach gear.
