From the center of Tilarán, head northwest on Route 142 towards Bagaces. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the junction with Route 1. Continue straight on Route 142 for about 10 more minutes, following the signs for Bagaces. Just before entering Bagaces, you will see signs for the Rio Negro Hot Springs. Turn left onto PMR3+WCQ and follow this road to the hot springs, which will be on your right.

From Tilarán, catch a bus heading to Bagaces from the local bus station. Buses typically leave every hour and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes.
