Car
If you're traveling by car from the center of Yamoussoukro, start near the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace. Head east on Avenue de la République towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for about 1.5 km. Look for signs for YAKRO PARC and turn left onto Avenue du Parc. Follow the road to the park entrance. Parking is usually available at the park.
Public Transport
To reach YAKRO PARC via public transport, take a shared taxi or 'woro-woro' (local minibus) towards Yamoussoukro city center. Get off at the main market area, then walk about 1 kilometer south down Avenue de la Paix. Turn left onto Avenue du Président and continue for about 700 meters. YAKRO PARC will be on your left. A ride in a 'woro-woro' typically costs around 100-200 CFA francs.
