If you are traveling by car from anywhere within Biokovo Nature Park, set your GPS to the coordinates 43.2920055, 17.0178115 for Makarska breakwater. Depending on your starting point, you will likely take the D512 road toward the town of Makarska. Once you reach Makarska, follow signs towards the Riviera and the coast. The breakwater is located along the waterfront, and there are several parking areas nearby where you can leave your car (parking fees may apply).

If you are using public transportation, check local bus services that operate within Biokovo Nature Park. You may need to catch a bus to Makarska. Popular bus lines run frequently between towns, and you can find schedules at bus stations. Once you arrive at the Makarska bus station, it is a short walk to the breakwater (approximately 1 km). Follow the signs towards the waterfront, and you will reach the breakwater in about 10-15 minutes on foot.
