Walking
If you are in the center of Makarska, start at the main square (Trg fra Andrije Kačića Miošića). Head towards the east along the main road (Obala kralja Tomislava) towards the beach promenade. Walk along the promenade until you reach the intersection with Ulica Put Velikog Brda. Turn left onto this street and continue walking uphill. After about 10 minutes, you will see the Franciscan Monastery on your right. The monastery is situated just off the main road and is marked with signs.
Public Transport
From the main bus station in Makarska, take a local bus heading towards the beach area. Get off at the stop named 'Franjevački samostan' (Franciscan Monastery). The bus ride takes about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Once you disembark, the monastery will be within a short walking distance. Follow the signs that indicate the direction of the monastery.
