Baraka Winery, a family-owned boutique winery, is located in Bogdanovići, near Šibenik, in the heart of Dalmatia. The winery is situated on the Srima peninsula, near the basilica Prižba from the 6th century. The Baraka family began crafting wines in the late 1980s, initially using grapes sourced from local vineyards. In 2005, Gordan Baraka planted his first vineyard in Šibenik, marking a significant step in the winery's development. By 2013, a new wine cellar was constructed in the traditional architectural style of Dalmatia. Today, Filip Baraka owns the winery. Baraka Winery spans six hectares and cultivates over 25,000 grapevines. The estate grows local varieties such as Babić, Plavina, Debit, and Maraština, as well as international grapes like Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery also has 360 olive trees and various Mediterranean plants. Baraka Winery produces a range of red, white, and rosé wines. Their signature red wine, Prisbus Riserva, is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. They also produce a Debit, an indigenous white wine of the Šibenik region. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings in the winery's tasting room, which offers views of the surrounding landscape. The winery also hosts special events, including picnics and exclusive Wine Club parties. Baraka Winery is committed to producing wines that reflect the region's unique terroir.
