Car
If you are driving from Dubrovnik, take the D8 road north towards the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The drive is approximately 30 kilometers and takes about 40 minutes. Once you reach the border at the 'Granični prelaz' crossing, follow the signs to Trebinje. Upon entering Trebinje, continue straight until you reach Stari Grad 59, where the Herzegovina Museum is located. There is usually no toll on this route, but make sure to have your documents ready for the border crossing.

To reach the Herzegovina Museum via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Dubrovnik to Trebinje. Buses run regularly from the Dubrovnik bus station, and the journey takes about 2 hours. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for any changes. Once you arrive at the Trebinje bus station, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a local taxi to Stari Grad 59. The taxi ride will cost around 10-15 HRK (Croatian Kuna).
