Car
If you're traveling by car, start from any location in the Dubrovnik Riviera. Head towards the town of Ston, which is approximately 55 kilometers northwest of Dubrovnik. Follow D8 road (Jadranska Magistrala) until you reach the junction with D414. Turn onto D414, and continue straight for around 5 kilometers until you reach the parking lot at the foot of Kaštio Fort. There are parking facilities available, but be aware that there might be a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Dubrovnik to Ston. Buses to Ston depart from Dubrovnik's main bus station and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Ston, you can walk to Kaštio Fort. Exit the bus and head towards the main road (D414), then follow the signs leading to the fort. The walk from the bus station to the fort should take around 20 minutes. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for return trips to Dubrovnik.

Walking from Ston
If you are already in Ston, the Kaštio Fort is a short hike from the town. Start your journey at the main square of Ston and head towards the hillside. Follow the marked trail that leads to the fort. The walk is about 1.5 kilometers and will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path may be steep in parts.
