From anywhere in the Old Town, make your way to Stradun, the main street. Walk towards the Pile Gate. Before exiting the Old Town, turn left onto Ul. Svetog Đurđa. The Amerling Fountain will be a short distance ahead on your right.

If arriving by bus from outside the Old Town, take any bus that stops at Pile Gate. Bus lines 1A and 1B are common options. After exiting the bus at Pile Gate, enter the Old Town and walk along Stradun. Turn left onto Ul. Svetog Đurđa before exiting the Old Town. The Amerling Fountain will be on your right. A single bus ticket costs €1.73 if purchased at a kiosk or €2.50 if purchased on the bus.

Ask the taxi driver to take you to Ul. Svetog Đurđa in the Old Town, near the Pile Gate. Note that taxis cannot enter the Old Town itself, but can drop you off at Pile Gate. From there, walk a short distance along Stradun and turn left onto Ul. Svetog Đurđa. The Amerling Fountain will be on your right. Taxi fares within the city generally start at €3.36, with a cost per km of €1.08. A taxi from Dubrovnik Airport to the Old Town costs approximately €45.
