If you are traveling by car, start from Hvar Town. Head west on the D116 road towards Stari Grad. Once you reach Stari Grad, continue on the D116 for about 5 km until you see signs for Selca. Follow the signs towards Selca kod Starog Grada. As you approach Selca, keep an eye out for signs indicating the Hvar mountains. The mountains are located just north of Selca. There is free parking available in the area.

Public Transportation
To reach the Hvar mountains via public transportation, take a bus from Hvar Town to Stari Grad. The bus service is operated by Krilo and runs several times a day. Once you arrive in Stari Grad, you can catch a local taxi to Selca kod Starog Grada. Taxis are available at the bus station, and the ride to Selca should cost around 80 kuna. After arriving in Selca, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Hvar mountains, which are located just north of Selca.

For the more adventurous, consider biking to the Hvar mountains from Hvar Town. Rent a bike in Hvar Town and take the D116 road towards Stari Grad.
