Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from Hvar Town and head east on the D116 road. Follow the signs towards Jelsa. After about 15 km, you will reach a junction. Take the right turn towards Gdinj. Continue on this road for approximately 10 km until you see signs for Kučac beach. There is a small parking area near the beach, but be prepared for limited spaces.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take the bus from Hvar Town to Jelsa. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Jelsa, you will need to switch to a local bus or arrange a taxi to Gdinj. The local bus service may not run frequently, so be sure to check the schedule in advance. The taxi fare from Jelsa to Gdinj should be around 150-200 kuna, depending on the time of day and negotiation.

Walking

If you are feeling adventurous and are already in Gdinj, you can walk to Kučac beach from the village. The path is approximately 1.5 km and will take you about 20-30 minutes on foot. Follow the signs to the beach, and be prepared for some uneven terrain as you make your way down to the shore.
