Start at the Hvar Town square (Trg Sveti Stjepana). Head northwest towards the waterfront, then follow the promenade along the coast until you reach the ferry terminal. From there, take a ferry to Split. Once you arrive at the Split ferry terminal, exit and head north on Obala Lazareta. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ul. Ispod ure. The Iron Gate will be on your left.

To visit the Iron Gate from Hvar, take a ferry from Hvar Town to Split. Ferries run frequently throughout the day. Upon arriving in Split at the ferry terminal, exit and head north along Obala Lazareta. After a short walk, turn left onto Ul. Ispod ure, where you will find the Iron Gate.
