Getting There

  • Bike

    Start from the main promenade in Makarska, near the statue of the fishmonger. Head west along the waterfront towards the direction of the marina. Continue past the marina until you reach the intersection with D8 road. Turn left onto D8 and follow the road for approximately 8 kilometers. After passing through the village of Tučepi, you will enter the area of Omiš. Look for signs indicating 'Bike Tracks' as you approach Omiš. The bike tracks are located just off D70 road, which you will take a right onto when you see the sign. Follow D70 for about 1 km until you reach the bike track area. Make sure to bring a map or GPS to help navigate.

  • Public Transport

    From the main bus station in Makarska, purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Omiš. Buses operate regularly throughout the day, so check the schedule to find one that fits your time. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Omiš, exit the bus and walk towards D70 road. The bike tracks will be accessible from here; you can follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

  • Walk

    If you're up for a long walk from Makarska, head out of the town along the coast towards Tučepi on the D8 road. It will take you about 2 hours to walk the 8 kilometers to Tučepi. Once in Tučepi, continue on the D8 road until you reach Omiš. At the fork, turn onto D70 road where you will see signs for the bike tracks. The bike tracks are approximately 1 km from this point.
