If you are in the center of Makarska, start at the main square (Trg Frankopana). From the square, head south towards the waterfront. Once you reach the promenade (Obala kralja Tomislava), turn left and walk along the sea. Continue walking past the marina and follow the coastal path. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. You will see signs for Gradska plaža as you approach. The beach is located at the end of the promenade, right next to the blue sea and beautiful pine trees.

From Makarska, you can take a local bus that heads towards Ploče. You will need to find the bus stop near the main square. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk or directly from the driver. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Gradska plaža, which is usually announced on the bus. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the beach.
