    Getting There

    Walking

If you are in the center of Makarska, start at the main square (Trg Frankopana). From the square, head south towards the waterfront promenade (Obala kralja Tomislava). Walk along the promenade for about 600 meters until you reach the large beach area (Plaža). Continue walking along the beach until you see a path that leads up into the hills. This path will take you towards the botanical garden. Follow the signs or ask locals if you need assistance, as the path can be a bit steep. After about a 15-minute walk, you will arrive at the entrance to the Botanical Garden.
