Walking
If you are starting from the main square in Makarska, head south towards the waterfront promenade (Riva). Walk along the promenade until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight onto the road (Obala kralja Tomislava) that runs parallel to the sea. After approximately 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Franjevački samostan on your left. The Malacological Museum is located within the monastery complex at Franjevački put 1.

Bus
From the Makarska bus station, take any local bus heading towards the city center. Get off at the 'Trg Tina Ujevića' stop. From there, walk south towards the waterfront promenade (Riva). Follow the promenade until you reach the roundabout, then continue straight onto Obala kralja Tomislava. After about 500 meters, the entrance to the Franjevački samostan will be on your left, where the Malacological Museum is located.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Makarska. Start from the town center and cycle towards the waterfront promenade (Riva). Follow the path along the promenade until you reach the roundabout. Continue cycling straight onto Obala kralja Tomislava. After about 500 meters, look for the Franjevački samostan on your left side. The Malacological Museum is inside the monastery.
