If arriving by bus to Lepoglava, the closest town, and feeling adventurous, consider walking to Trakoscan Castle. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and should take about 30 minutes. Follow the signs to Trakošćan as you make your way through the scenic landscape. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
