Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to the Temple of Augustus in Pula, start on the A9 motorway heading towards Pula. Once you reach Pula, follow the signs for the city center. As you enter the city, look for signs directing you to the ‘Stari Grad’ (Old Town). You can park at one of the nearby parking lots such as 'Parking Pula' or 'Parking Valturska'. From the parking area, it’s a short walk to the Temple of Augustus located at Forum b.b, just off the main square.

• Bus

  If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Pula from various locations in Istria. The bus station in Pula is located at Kolodvorska ulica. From the bus station, you can either walk to the Temple of Augustus, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head straight down Ulica Flavijevska, turn left onto Ulica Sergijevaca, and continue until you reach the Forum square where the Temple is located.

• Taxi

  Consider taking a taxi directly to the Temple of Augustus if you prefer a more comfortable option. Simply ask the driver to take you to 'Forum b.b, Pula', and they will drop you off right at the entrance of the Temple. This option is especially convenient if you are traveling with luggage or in a group.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. Many towns in Istria offer bike rentals. Cycle along the scenic coastal routes or through the countryside, heading towards Pula. Upon arriving in Pula, park your bicycle at one of the designated bike parking areas near the city center and walk to the Temple of Augustus located at Forum b.b.
