Getting there

Walking

From Rovinj's Old Town, many beaches are within walking distance. For example, to reach Monte Beach, walk west from the main square towards the Church of St. Euphemia; the beach is located directly below the church. Mulini Beach is a 10-minute walk south of the Old Town, near the ACI Marina. No costs are involved in accessing these beaches by foot.

Public Transport

For beaches further from the town center, such as those in the Zlatni Rt park or Amarin Beach, consider taking a local bus. Bus tickets within Rovinj typically cost around 1.5 EUR. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information on routes and times. Alternatively, a taxi from the town center to Amarin Beach is approximately 10-15 EUR.

Boat

To reach beaches on the islands of Sv. Andrija (Red Island) or Sv. Katarina, take a boat from Rovinj's harbor. Boats depart regularly during the day, with a round-trip ticket to Red Island costing about 6 EUR. The trip to St. Katarina is shorter and may have a slightly lower fare. Check the boat schedule at Delfin Pier for the most current departure times and prices.

Parking

If driving, be aware that the Old Town is a car-free zone. Use designated parking lots outside the center, such as Valdibora, which is a 5-minute walk to the Old Town. Parking costs vary by zone and season; expect to pay around 1-2 EUR per hour in Zone 1 during peak season. A day ticket can range from 7-25 EUR depending on the parking location and time of year.
