Walking
If you are in the center of Split, head towards the Riva promenade along the waterfront. From here, walk towards the bus station (Autobusni kolodvor) located at the east end of the Riva. Once you reach the bus station, take the bus number 60 towards Stari Grad. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. After arriving at Stari Grad, get off at the main bus stop in the town center. From there, walk straight towards Trg Tvrdalj, which is about a 10-minute walk. You will see the Fortress of Petar Hektorović, which is located at Trg Tvrdalj Petra Hektorovića 12.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Split. Head towards the Riva promenade and follow the bike path that leads to the ferry terminal. From the terminal, take the bike path along the coast heading towards Stari Grad. The ride will take about 45 minutes. Once in Stari Grad, park your bike and walk to Trg Tvrdalj, which is about a 5-minute walk from the town center.
