Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Split, walk to the main bus station located just outside the Split Ferry Port. Look for bus number 37 (Stari Grad) on the schedule. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk or the bus driver. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Stari Grad bus stop, walk towards the town center which is a short 5-minute walk following the signs to the main square.

  • Ferry

    If you are near the Split harbor, you can take a ferry to Stari Grad. Check the ferry schedule at the Jadrolinija ferry terminal. Purchase your ticket at the terminal or online in advance. The ferry ride lasts about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Stari Grad port, you can walk into the town center which is just a few minutes away.

  • Walking

    If you are in the vicinity of the Diocletian's Palace area in Split, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Head towards the Riva promenade and follow it along the coast until you reach the ferry terminal. From there, you can take a ferry to Stari Grad as mentioned above, or continue walking along the coast for approximately 15 kilometers. The walk will take about 3-4 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
