Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From the center of Split, walk to the 'Sukoisan' bus station located near the city center. You can reach it by walking east along the main road (Obala Hrvatskog narodnog preporoda) until you see the bus station. Once at 'Sukoisan', take bus number 3 towards 'Solin'. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Salona' stop. After disembarking, you will see signs directing you to the archaeological site, which is a short walk of about 10 minutes. Follow the path through the local area until you reach the entrance at Ul. don Frane Bulića 91, Solin.

    If you prefer to walk, start from the Split city center and head towards the 'Riva' (the waterfront promenade). Walk along the promenade until you reach the 'Green Market' (Pazar). From there, proceed to the northern exit of the market and continue straight onto the road (Ulica Domovinskog rata). Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers, which will lead you directly to the archaeological site of Salona in Solin. Keep an eye out for directional signs along the way.
