Walking
The Old Town Hall is located on Narodni trg in the heart of Split's Old Town. If you are already in Old Town, simply navigate to Narodni trg (People's Square). From the Riva (waterfront promenade), walk inland towards Diocletian's Palace and follow the signs to Narodni trg. The Old Town Hall is easily visible on the eastern side of the square. The walk from most points in the Old Town takes no more than 5-10 minutes.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus to the main bus terminal, which is next to the train station and the port, the Old Town Hall is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Alternatively, numerous local buses stop near the Old Town. Look for buses that stop at 'Pazar' or 'Općina'. From either of these stops, it's a short walk to Narodni trg. Bus tickets can be purchased at Promet Split kiosks or on the bus. A single ticket within the city zone costs 11 HRK when purchased on the bus. Keep in mind that the bus station in Split is not the same as the main (intercity) bus station that is located next to the port.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Split. A taxi from the main bus or train station to the Old Town Hall should be a short ride. The base fare for a taxi is around €3.32 (25 HRK), with a rate of €1.86 (14 HRK) per kilometer. A short trip from the bus station to the Old Town Hall should cost approximately €8-12. Ensure the driver turns on the meter at the beginning of the journey.
