Getting There

  • Ferry

    From Zadar, head to the Gaženica Ferry Port, which is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. You can reach the ferry port by walking south along Obala kralja Petra Krešimira IV until you reach the waterfront promenade. Continue along the promenade until you see signs for Gaženica Ferry Port. Once you arrive at the ferry port, purchase a ticket for the ferry to the island of Ugljan. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes.

  • Walking

    After disembarking the ferry at the Ugljan port, you will find yourself in the town of Ugljan. From the ferry terminal, head northeast towards the main road (D110). Continue along the D110 road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the village of Preko. Look for signs directing you to the Bay Suha (Uvala Suha) as you approach Preko. The bay is located to the northwest of Preko, and you may follow local paths that lead directly to the beach area.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer a faster route, consider renting a bicycle at the Ugljan port after your ferry ride. Once you have your bike, head northwest along the coastal path that will take you directly to Bay Suha (Uvala Suha). The bike ride is enjoyable, offering beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea, and should take about 15-20 minutes.
