Bus
To get to Beritnica Beach in Metajna from Zadar, start by heading to the main bus station in Zadar, located at Ante Starčevića 1. Look for the bus lines that go towards Novalja. Once you find the right bus, purchase a ticket to Novalja. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. After arriving at the Novalja bus station, switch to a local bus heading towards Metajna. The local bus will take about 30 minutes to reach Metajna. Once you arrive in Metajna, walk towards the beach by following the signs or asking locals for Beritnica Beach, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Zadar to Beritnica Beach. Taxis can be found at various locations around Zadar, including the airport and the bus station. The journey will take about 1 hour and will cost around 700-900 HRK. Be sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey or ensure the meter is running.
Bike
For the more adventurous, you can rent a bike in Zadar and cycle to Beritnica Beach. Start at the Zadar waterfront and follow the coastal road towards Nin, then continue along the main road towards Novalja. The total distance is around 50 km, so plan for a full day of cycling with breaks. When you get close to Metajna, follow local signs to Beritnica Beach.
