To reach Medvedgrad using public transportation, first take a bus from any town in Zagorje to Zagreb. Buses to Zagreb leave frequently and can be boarded at the main bus stations. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Zagreb, find bus line 140 or 143 that goes to the area of Medvedgrad. The fare is approximately 10-15 HRK. Get off at the Medvedgrad stop, and from there, it's a short hike to the fortress entrance. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.
