From Zagreb, take a train from Zagreb Glavni Kol. to Zapresic Savska. The train journey takes approximately 21 minutes, with tickets costing between €1 and €3. Alternatively, a bus from Črnomerec to Kodrmanova is available, running every 20 minutes and costing €1-€2. From Zaprešić center, Krapina is easily accessible by local bus or a short taxi ride. Bus services in Zaprešić are operated by ZET and other carriers. A bus ticket from Zaprešić to Zagreb is approximately $2.59.

Walking

Krapina is located within Zaprešić, specifically in Zaprešić centar. From most points in the city center, it is easily reachable by foot. Use local landmarks such as the Church of St. Nicholas or the Zaprešić Museum as orientation points. Walking from the Zaprešić train station to Krapina would take approximately 30 minutes.

Driving

If driving from Zagreb, take the main road towards Zaprešić. Once in Zaprešić, follow local signs to Zaprešić centar. Parking is available in Zaprešić, with hourly rates in Zone 1 (red) costing €0.50 for a maximum of 2 hours, and Zone 2 (yellow) costing €0.40 without time limits.
