Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Ban Jelačić Square, head northeast towards Ilica Street. Continue walking straight along Ilica Street until you reach the intersection with Tomićeva Street. Turn left onto Tomićeva Street, which will lead you up a hill towards Gornji grad (Upper Town). As you walk up, you will pass by several cafes and shops. Continue walking until you reach the top of the hill, where you will see the iconic St. Mark's Church. The Advent festivities are usually held around this area, especially along the streets near the church.

Tram
From any location in Zagreb, make your way to a nearby tram station. Take tram line 6 or 11 towards the direction of ‘Savski most’ or ‘Črnomerec’. Get off at the station 'Kaptol' which is close to the Gornji grad area. After exiting the tram, head uphill towards the entrance of the Upper Town area.
