Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Ban Jelačić Square, walk towards Ilica Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Radićeva Street. Turn left onto Radićeva and walk up the hill. This will take you to the Stone Gate (Kamenita Vrata), a historic landmark. Continue past the gate, and you will find yourself in the Gornji Grad area, where you can explore attractions like St. Mark's Church and the Lotrščak Tower.

  • Tram

    From the main tram stop at Ban Jelačić Square, take tram number 6 or 8 towards 'Črnomerec' or 'Savišće'. Get off at the stop 'Ilica - Britanski trg'. From there, head towards the upper town by walking up the stairs leading to Strossmayer Promenade, which will guide you to Gornji Grad.
