Getting There

Tram
If you are near the city center, take tram line 17 from Trg bana Josipa Jelačića (the main square). Ride the tram towards the station called 'Jarun'. You will travel for about 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Jarun' stop, exit the tram and walk straight ahead. Follow the path leading towards the lake, and within a few minutes, you will reach the beautiful Jarun Lake area.

From the main bus station (Autobusni kolodvor Zagreb), take bus number 109 towards 'Jarun'. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you reach the 'Jarun' bus stop, disembark and follow the signs to the lake. Jarun Lake is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

Walking
If you are staying in the nearby neighborhood of Trešnjevka, you can easily walk to Jarun Lake. Start from the Trešnjevka train station and head west on Vukovar Street. After about a 15-minute walk, you will reach the lakeside area. Just follow the path that leads directly to the lake.

Bicycle
Zagreb has a bike-sharing system called 'Nextbike'. You can rent a bicycle from one of the many Nextbike stations around the city. Cycle towards Jarun Lake by following the bike paths along the Sava River. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes from the city center. Look for the signs directing you to Jarun Lake as you approach.
