Tram
If you are starting from the main square (Trg bana Jelačića), walk to the tram stop located on Ilica street (just south of the square). Board Tram Line 11, which is marked with a blue color. Ride the tram for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the 'Maksimir' stop. Once you get off, walk towards the east side of the park, following the signs that lead to Zoo Zagreb.

From the main square (Trg bana Jelačića), walk to the nearby bus station at the same location. Take Bus Line 109 towards 'Maksimir' and stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Disembark at the 'Zoo Zagreb' stop, which is directly in front of the entrance to the zoo.

If you are close to Maksimir Park, simply enter the park from the main entrance on Maksimirska cesta. Follow the main walking paths, keeping to the right as you walk deeper into the park. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will see signs directing you to Zoo Zagreb. The zoo is located within the park, so enjoy the scenic surroundings on your way!
