Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Kaptol, head towards the main street, Ilica. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the street called Medvedgradska. Turn left onto Medvedgradska and continue walking straight. After a few minutes, you will reach the entrance to the Zoo Zagreb located at Ul. Fakultetsko dobro 1. The total walking distance is approximately 1 km and should take around 15-20 minutes.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Kaptol, make your way to the nearest tram station, which is located on Ilica. Take tram number 11 in the direction of 'Ciglenečki put' or tram number 12 towards 'Zapadni kolodvor'. Get off at the stop 'Maksimir'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the zoo. As of the latest information, a tram ticket costs approximately 10 HRK.
