Walking
From anywhere in central Otrobanda, head towards Hoogstraat, the main street. Look for signs directing you to Ser'i Otrobanda viewpoint. Once on Hoogstraat, continue until you reach number 11. The walk is generally 10-15 minutes, depending on your starting point. Note that Hoogstraat is a public road, so there are no costs involved.
Public Transport
If arriving by public transport, take a bus to the Otrobanda bus terminal (also known as "AWASA"). From the terminal, walk east along the main road (parallel to the harbor) until you reach the intersection with Hoogstraat. Turn right onto Hoogstraat and walk uphill to number 11. Bus fares are approximately 2 ANG (Netherlands Antillean Guilders) for a one-way trip. Have small cash amounts, as not all buses accept credit cards.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available in Willemstad. Ask your driver to take you to 11 Hoogstraat in Otrobanda. A short taxi ride from Punda or other parts of Otrobanda will likely cost between 15-25 ANG, depending on traffic and distance. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Note that taxi fares are unmetered, and a surcharge may be added before 6:00 am or past 11:00 pm (25%).
Driving
If driving, navigate to Otrobanda and find parking near Hoogstraat. Parking is available on the street, and costs 1 ANG per hour from Monday to Saturday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. You can pay at parking meters using coins or a prepaid parking card. Alternatively, you can download the Flowbird app to register and pay online using a credit card. After parking, walk to 11 Hoogstraat. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.
