Ultimate Full-Day Private Tour: Discover all Curacao highlights

The Helvig Experience

This excursion was the HIGHLIGHT of our 9 day stay. Helvig shared her personal country and customs knowledge with pride and exuberance. Trip was designed to our choices with some added gems. There was no rush at any site. Would HIGHLY recommend Helvig and this tour.

Private Curaçao Heritage Tour A Private Curaçao Journey

Wonderful tour with Maggy

Curacao reviews Private Curaçao Heritage Tour A Private Curaçao Journey Curacao We booked a tour of Curaçao via Viator. We received a call the day before from Maggy, who introduced herself as our guide and arranged the pick up time. She picked us up the next morning in a lovely Pajero, and off we went for our tour. She is such a lovely lady, well spoken, knows everything about her country, having been born and lived here her entire life. It is evident that she’s very proud of her country with what she shared. We had a very delightful 3–4 hours with her. But she made it even more special with unexpected touches. She brought along the native dress of Curacao for us to put on and take pictures on the pontoon bridge (which happened to be closing when we were there). She made a point of capturing pictures of us on her own phone (as well as ours) throughout the tour. And she’s an excellent photographer by the way. She brought water in a cooler and even bought us sodas during the tour. She is very passionate about her beautiful country. She even went out of her way to drive us by some restaurants we were considering for dinner and a cigar lounge I had heard about. We learned a lot about the city and had 3-4 very pleasant hours with her. When we return to Curacao we will definitely look for Maggy.

Terrific history tour

Helvig was a terrific tour guide. She had a clear mastery of all topics we asked about, learned from both formal study and lived experience. She responded enthusiastically to our custom tour requests and was a pleasure to spend time with. We would highly recommend.
