    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Curaçao Cruise Terminal at Mathey Wharf, Willemstad's city center is easily accessible on foot. Upon exiting the terminal, follow the signs towards the Queen Emma Bridge. Cross the bridge to reach Punda, the historic heart of Willemstad, with its iconic Handelskade and numerous shops and restaurants. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes and is free of charge.

    Public Transport

    From the Curaçao Airport (CUR), take the 4B bus to the Otrabanda Bus Station in Willemstad. From there, you can walk to most major attractions in Willemstad. The bus trip takes approximately 25 minutes and costs around $2. Buses depart every two hours.

    Taxi

    Taxis are readily available at Curaçao International Airport (CUR) and the cruise port. A taxi ride from the airport to Willemstad typically costs between $30 and $40 USD and takes 15-20 minutes. From the cruise port, a short taxi ride to anywhere in the city center should cost approximately $25 ANG. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

    Parking

    Parking in Willemstad is generally available, with the exception of the downtown area. Paid parking is reintroduced in the downtown area of Willemstad, both in Punda and Otrobanda. The fee is 1 guilder per hour, with an additional 50 cents for every extra half hour. You can pay at parking meters using coins or a prepaid parking card, which can be purchased from parking attendants. Alternatively, you can download the Flowbird app to register and pay online using a credit card. The Renaissance Resort also provides more than 500 free parking spaces on five levels as part of its shopping mall.
