Driving
From Peyia, follow the signs towards Agios Georgios. Continue along the coast road, then turn right towards the Akamas Peninsula. The road to Avakas Gorge is unpaved and can be bumpy, so drive slowly. There are three parking lots available; parking closer to the trailhead saves about 1.5km of walking but requires a vehicle suitable for rough terrain. Parking is free.
Public Transport
From Paphos, take bus number 615 to Coral Bay, then transfer to bus number 616 towards Agios Georgios. Get off at the 'Ag Georgiou Pegias 9' bus stop, near the Sunset Restaurant. From there, it's approximately a 3km walk to the Avakas Gorge entrance. The bus fare is approximately €1.50 per ride, or €5 for a day pass.
