Getting There

• Car

  From Kykkos Monastery, head southeast on the E740 road. Follow the E740 for approximately 10 kilometers. You will pass through scenic mountainous areas. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating the way to 'Τοποθεσία σελλαδι του Σταχτου'. After about 10 kilometers, you will arrive at the destination, which is a popular hiking area. Parking is available along the roadside, but be cautious of any parking restrictions.

  From Kykkos Monastery, walk to the nearest bus stop. You may need to ask locals for directions to the closest bus stop, as it might not be clearly marked. Catch a bus heading towards 'E740'. You will need to get off at the stop closest to the E740 road. Once you disembark, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach 'Τοποθεσία σελλαδι του Σταχτου'. Follow the E740, and be aware that the walk may involve some uphill paths. Ensure you check the bus schedules in advance, as they may not run frequently.

  If you prefer to walk directly from Kykkos Monastery to 'Τοποθεσία σελλαδι του Σταχτου', take the trail leading southeast from the monastery. This is a scenic route but can be physically demanding, as it involves some steep sections. The distance is approximately 5 kilometers. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water, especially during warmer months.
