Getting there

Driving

If driving from Kyrenia city center, head east along the D22 coastal road. At the roundabout near Kyrenia Harbor, take the exit onto Silivritepe Yolu. Continue straight for approximately 3 kilometers. The Historic Tank will be on your left. Limited free parking is available near the site. Be mindful of local parking regulations.

Public Transport

From Kyrenia's main bus station (located near Kyrenia Castle), take a 'dolmuş' (shared minibus) heading towards Çatalköy or Lapta. These dolmuşes frequently travel along the coastal road and pass near Silivritepe Yolu. The fare is approximately 5-10 Turkish Lira. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Silivritepe Yolu. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk uphill to the Historic Tank.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Kyrenia, particularly near the harbor and main squares. A taxi ride from the Kyrenia city center to the Historic Tank will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
