Getting There

  • Walking

    From Kyrenia Harbor, walk towards Ataturk Avenue and head east. Continue straight and follow the road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Ercan Airport Road (also known as the Dörtyol Road). Keep walking straight, and you will pass by various shops and cafes. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the bus station on your right side. From there, look for a bus heading to Nicosia.

    Take the bus from the Kyrenia bus station to Nicosia. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nicosia bus terminal, look for signs directing you towards the city center. Exit the terminal and head towards the main street, called 'Mehmet Ali Akıncı Street'.

  • Walking

    From the bus terminal in Nicosia, continue walking on Mehmet Ali Akıncı Street until you reach the first major intersection. Here, turn left onto Selimiye Street. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see Selimiye Camii on your right-hand side. The mosque is easily identifiable by its impressive minarets and beautiful architecture.
